A brand new year....

I only made one new year's resolution- To have at least one good steak a month.  It's simple and very easy to do.  Everyone has to eat right?!

When I'm not thinking about red meat, there has been something working in my brain though for months and months though.  I knew I needed to change Jenny Bunny Creations to reflect what I feel it is...  and it's taken me months and months to do it.  I'm one of those people who have to think about something, then think more, then over-analyze, then think... Then DO.  It's annoying, I admit, but I feel like I've come to the right conclusion for JBC.

To me, JBC has always been a little earthy, a little classy, a little wild and a whole lotta unique.  I hope my new blog layout, tags and everything else reflects that.  I'm still earthy, classy, wild and unique, but with the background and stuff toned down a bit and minus a bunny.

My pink and crazy bunny just didn't feel right anymore... I needed a little growing up to happen.  Trust me when I say this last year and three months has proven to be a swift kick in the heinie.  I hope you enjoy the changes and all the new things to come.

Not so pretty....

Working on changing, well, everything....  The blog is slowly being adjusted.  Trying to work the kinks out, but soon, it shall be done!

Woof woof!

That's tea cup poodle speak for "holy moley, it's cold in Minnesota!" and Saturday it was chilly and windy, but still beautiful! 

I don't know about you, but I can't pass up a brand new puppy.  You see it and you just HAVE to pet it, right?  Well, a lovely lady named Sue (on the right) was walking past me on the sidewalk and I saw her little pup just snuggled up near her neck.  Of course I asked to hold it.  Turns out it's a boy, but he was nameless since she had just adopted him two hours before.

I was wearing a cowl I made and he just tried to climb right in...  Ok, I admit, I'm a softie and it was so freakin' cute that it brought tears to my eyes.  *sniffle*  He's just so cute!  Well, I took it off and told Sue that it was hers.... Just so she could snuggle her baby boy up! 

Look how sweet he is!  Just a little doll!  I just couldn't stand for him to be chilly, so I feel like I helped someone/something out that day.  Made me feel good about myself.... It was small, but it was something, right?

I'm thinking I don't do enough good deeds in a day, so that's a new goal... To try and make someone else's life better every day.

Fall is here...

Right now I'm sitting at the computer with sweats, a hoodie, a t-shirt and slippers on.... and I'm still cold!  I love Fall, I admit it, but it's taking me a bit to acclimate!  Actually I'm going to go get some cocoa right now....  Oh, and toast.

I've had this idea for a necklace in my head for a while, but little time to create it....  I found some and made it even better than I imagined.  It was antique brass chain and findings along with hex cut seed beads and three types of Czech glass- solid black rounds, Montana blue rounds and faceted AB black beads.  And they are all twisted and woven together!

It's 18 inches around, but, or course, I can adjust it for the winner!
